Terms of use
Last updated October 13, 2026
These terms cover the templates, the bank statement tool and the fill-online PDF on this site. By using them you agree to the points below.
Free to use
The templates and tools are free. You may use the files and the statements you make with them for your own business or for clients, and you may change the templates however you like. Please do not resell the templates themselves as your own product.
You check every figure
The tool sorts transactions with rules, and rules make mistakes. You are responsible for the figures in any statement you sign, send or file. Check each category, check the totals against your bank records, and keep the records behind them.
Not advice
Nothing on this site is accounting, tax or legal advice, and the statements are not audited or reviewed. Some lenders require a statement prepared by an accountant. Schedule C line numbers on this site are a common mapping; your tax preparer decides where each figure goes on a return.
No warranty
The site, the tools and the files are provided as they are, without any warranty. We are not liable for any loss that comes from using them, to the extent the law allows.
Acceptable use
Do not try to break, overload or misuse the site or its contact form, and do not use it for anything unlawful.
Trademarks
Excel and Word are trademarks of Microsoft, and Google Sheets is a trademark of Google. This site is not affiliated with either.
Changes
We may update these terms, and the date at the top shows the latest version. The main page of the site is the profit and loss statement template.
